EatingWell:What are your familys favorite quick meals for weeknights?
But we also love Bob Evans products like the mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese.
EatingWell:Favorite snacks that both you and your family love?
Ribeiro:We eat a lot of the Siete cassava chips.
And the kids love rice cakes.
Things like that are always in the pantry available to them.
Those are our go-to snacks in the house.
EatingWell:Do you have a morning routine that helps you start the day?
Or a go-to breakfast that you love?
Ribeiro:Well, I’m not a ritual throw in of person.
Each day might be slightly differenta little bit of variety is great.
Scrambled eggs with some gluten-free bread might be my No.
1 go-to breakfast to get the day going.
Every once in a while, I’ll do some cereal, but its a very simple breakfast.
EatingWell:Being a father with a busy career, whats your favorite form of me time?
Thats definitely one of the things that I enjoy the most.
Golf is that thing for me to be able to go and relax.
It’s not always relaxing, but it is nice to be out there.
EatingWell:Any food hot takes?
Ribeiro:I’m not a seafood eater, so there’s no seafood in my life.
That would be the thing that jumps to my mind.
If it isn’t on land, I don’t know what it is.
I just don’t like it, I just grew up not liking it.
I was grossed out by fish when I was a kid and it hasn’t changed.
EatingWell:What does eating well mean to you?
Ribeiro:It actually means two different things.
One is eating healthy, trying to eat as healthy as it’s possible for you to.
But its also eating stuff that makes you happy.
There’s nothing better than finding a food that will make you smile when you need a little pick-me-up.
A little bit of balance in your life is, to me, eating well.
