To make these overnight oats dairy-free, swap out the milk for unsweetened oat milk or almond milk.
Repeat the layers once.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or up to 4 days.

To prepare topping:Preheat oven to 350F.
Line a small rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread evenly on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake until fragrant and lightly toasted, 5 to 7 minutes.
Let cool on the baking sheet for about 15 minutes.
Before serving the oats, top each serving with 2 tablespoons topping.
