Food & Drug Administration (FDA), non-pathogenic microorganisms are unlikely to cause disease or injury to consumers.

The recalled 32-ounce cartons of chicken bone broth are labeled with UPC 67200055858 and Lot Code 98E08242.

Food poisoning can be especially dangerous for those who are age 5 or younger, immunocompromised or currently pregnant.

In more severe cases, those who are pregnant may experience complications, including pregnancy loss or premature birth.

It can also cause severe illness or death in infected newborns.
