Fetlework Tefferi is owner and general manager of Cafe Colucci and Brundo Ethiopian Spice Company.
Fetlework moved from Ethiopia to the United States as a teenager with five bags of spices from her mother.
Brundo employs Ethiopian women at their factory and provides additional funding for their childrens school expenses.
Fetlework is also the author of the cookbook Ethiopian Pepper and Spice.
In 2024, she was named an honoree by the Black Women in Food Awards.
