Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper together in a large bowl.
Add bread; toss until the bread is coated.

Spread in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake, tossing once, until golden, about 20 minutes.
Let cool completely on the baking sheet, about 15 minutes.

Refrigerate seasoned croutons in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
Variations

Cheddar & Dill:In Step 2, add 1 tsp.
dried dill to the spice/oil mixture before adding the bread.
Bake until the cheese is bubbling and the croutons are golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes.
Caesar:In Step 2, add 1 Tbsp.
dried parsley, 1/2 tsp.
dried oregano and 1/4 tsp.
dried thyme to the spice/oil mixture before adding the bread.
Bake until golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes.
Ranch:In Step 2, add 1 Tbsp.
ranch seasoning (such as Dak’s Spices salt-free ranch) to the spice/oil mixture before adding the bread.
