If you bought collards in the Kroger produce department, its time to check the fridge.

Kroger shoppers in 10 states may need to discard their bagged collards due to possible listeria risk.

The bags have a dark blue label and a yellow 1-lb bag symbol.

The affected products have a UPC code of 11110-18171 and a best-by date of October 16, 2023.

They also have a production code of 110093-387, which is visible just below the printed best-buy date.

Since the recall announcement, Kroger has removed the remaining affected collards from shelves.

Short-term symptoms can include a high fever, severe headache, nausea, stiffness and abdominal pain.
