Another thing which I always have in my pantry is some good panko.

That is something that I can always transform.

Tasty Bite

EatingWell:Do you have any holiday traditions or food that youre looking forward to?

Like turkey tikka masala roulade, or all the traditional fixings always have an Indian twist to it.

For example, I make Beans Poriyal, which is green beans with coconut and peanuts.

My cranberry chutney is made with five-spice, ginger and orange in it.

That, to me, is what food is all about.

It is the ability to bring people together.

Tasty Bite

EatingWell:Favorite soup for comfort-food season?

But also now that I live in Nashville, I put a lot of Southern greens in it.

So be it mustard greens, collard greens.

And I do not skimp on the heat, especially when it’s chilly outside.

That, I think, is the ultimate comfort soup to me.

EatingWell:Lets talk about your partnership with Tasty Bite!

What inspired you to partner with them?

Or that it’s so difficult to make you have to go to a restaurant to have it.

So the first time that I tasted Tasty Bite was when my sister had gotten it.

And she’s like, No, I’m using this product, which was Tasty Bites Madras Lentils.
