The key to this sweet dessert is freezing the bananas so they form the base of the bark.

We use peanut butter, but you could swap in your favorite nut butter for an equally delicious treat.

Press the peanuts lightly to confirm they adhere to the bark.

Arrange banana slices in a single layer (they should be touching each other).

Freeze for at least 1 hour.

Drizzle peanut butter evenly over the banana slices.

Return to the freezer.

Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small microwave-safe bowl.

Stir until the chocolate chips are completely melted and incorporated into the oil.

Spread evenly over the banana slices.

Sprinkle with peanuts and sea salt, pressing to adhere if needed.

Freeze until the chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.

Carefully break the bark into 24 pieces.

Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 days.
