Sprinkle the chicken with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high.
Turn the chicken over, and cook 1 minute.
Place the chicken on top of the vegetables in the slow cooker.

Whisk together the stock, wine, and flour.
Pour the stock mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW until the chicken is cooked through, about 4 hours.
