What I have learned over the years is to make incremental adjustments to dishes I love.
I never think of being on a diet; I just think about my eating as a habit.
You will find the balance for yourself with your own favorite foods.
But just avoiding processed foods as much as possible still can have some pitfalls.
I experiment with how much I can replace in my recipes and still get delicious results.
